GAME Bundesverband der deutschen Games-Branche e.V. (German Games Industry Association) represents the interests of German interactive entertainment providers. Founded in 2004, the association has been committed to improving the economic and social conditions of the German market for almost ten years. It places particular emphasis on the protection of youth, consumers, and data, as well as copyright law and eCommerce. Moreover, we campaign for the ongoing advancement of the industry founded on several pillars. We provide networking and representation for anything from work groups to regional and nationwide events, as well as shared booths at home and abroad.

Computer games merge the elements of literature, music, and movies like no other medium – and add exciting interactive possibilities to the mix. For this reason, we actively promote equal treatment for the games industry with the other creative industries both socially and politically, and have therefore been members of the Deutscher Kulturrat (German Cultural Council) in the film and audio-visual media section since 2008.
